| School Messenger |
Palestine schools have begun working with School Messenger to provide for a means of targeting messages to parents and staff. School Messenger helps improve school to home communication; but placing a call is just the beginning. District and campus administrators can create unique messages delivered to all parents and staff or just to those at a particular campus or grade. Increased communication concerning absences, lunch balances, certain class test reminders, school emergencies and special events will hopefully result in increased student education and parent involvement. This new system can contact hundreds of parents in just minutes. School Messenger works off of the telephone numbers provided by parents to the school on student registration forms. If your phone numbers change and you do not notify the school, you will not receive these important messages. Please notify your child's school immediately should your number change. |
