Together we are BETTER!!!

I am Kevin Nesmith, the school counselor at A. M. Story Intermediate School.  It has been my blessing to serve as a business education (CATE) teacher for fifteen years and a school counselor for twelve.  I love schools and being an educator, but I do other things too.

The most fun things for me are cooking, traveling, college football, and being with my family.  It is also a great joy to work with kids and their families as I see our students moving towards fulfilling and rewarding lives. So let's work together and make great things happen for our kids!

Student Service Provider

Hello A.M. Story Lions!

My name is Kelsey Yates and I am the Student Service Provider at A.M. Story Intermediate.

I am excited to return to Story as the Student Service Provider. Before coming to Palestine I.S.D I had 8 years experience in Special Education. I am thankful for that background as I now work with several Special Programs on Campus. This year I will work with the following Special Programs: 504 Campus Coordinator, LPAC Committee Member, GT Identification & Testing.

I look forward to having a great school year with our students and servicing them!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding these programs.
