Safety and security projects would impact every student and every campus.

40% more parking with car

Additional PJS and PHS Parking

Current parking at both campuses is 520 spaces.

Bond 2025 adds 220 parking spaces, increasing parking by more than 40%.

New Bus lane at high school and junior high with school bus

New Bus Lane and Traffic Plan for PJS and PHS

The bond includes a new bus loop between PJH and PHS behind the baseball field.

The traffic plans separate 32 buses from the student and staff parking lot.

Awnings at Northside Primary and Southside Elementary

The bond funds covered awnings at both schools, which allow more students to enter/exit vehicles at a time in all weather conditions, which will increase the efficiency of drop-off and pick-up.

Second Secure Vestibule at Northside Primary and Southside Elementary

Prop A funds a second secure vestibule at both Southside Elementary and Northside Elementary, which will provide an additional parent/drop-off and pick-up location at each school.

Update Playground

Playground Upgrades

Prop A funds updated playgrounds with new equipment and improve handicap access.

Prop A also relocates the A.M. Story Intermediate School playground behind the campus, which allows direct access to the playground and also allows for close proximity for students to use the restrooms safely while being supervised.
