Energy Efficiency
Upgrades made possible by the bond, such as new air conditioning systems, windows, lighting, and roofing, will make school buildings more energy efficient and will lower operating costs for the district.

Current Conditions of PISD Facilities
Older facilities have mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment that are reaching the end of their useful life.
These systems often have obsolete parts, break more frequently and cost more to maintain, taking money out of the classroom.
