Palestine, TX — Palestine High School seniors gathered yesterday morning for the annual “Boys to Men” Breakfast, a meaningful event focused on preparing young men for the transition from high school to adulthood.
The program featured guest speaker and Palestine High School alumnus Mr. Jonathan Cary, who returned to inspire the next generation of Wildcats. Cary shared personal experiences and spoke on leadership, accountability, and perseverance, encouraging seniors to take ownership of their future and the choices that will shape it.
Designed specifically for graduating seniors, the breakfast provided an opportunity for reflection, mentorship, and real-world preparation. The event culminated in a powerful hands-on moment as community guests worked one-on-one with students, teaching them how to tie a tie—an important life skill symbolizing professionalism and readiness for future opportunities. Each senior was gifted a tie to take with them as a reminder of the lessons learned and the support behind them.
The “Boys to Men” Breakfast is a joint initiative of the Palestine ISD Education Foundation and the Palestine High School Student Council, highlighting the strong partnership between students, schools, and the community. Together, they are investing in experiences that go beyond academics to equip students with confidence, character, and practical skills.
As these seniors prepare to walk the stage in the coming weeks, the message of the morning was clear: Wildcat Nation stands behind them, ready to support their journey from boys to men.
