Palestine ISD offers free Pre-Kindergarten for all district residents who turn 4 on or before September 1, and limited spots for eligible 3-year-olds. Enrollment takes place at the Washington Early Childhood Center (WECC) via a two-part online process using Palestine ISD Skyward Enrollment.

Age Requirements: Children must be 4 years old by September 1 for the universal 4-year-old program, or 3 years old by September 1 for the limited 3-year-old program.
Required Documents: You must upload the following during the online registration process:
Child's Birth Certificate
Child's Social Security Card
Up-to-date Immunization Record
Parent/Guardian Photo ID
Proof of Residence (e.g., utility bill)
Proof of Income (if applying for the Head Start/Pre-K program via SNAP, TANF, SSI/SSA, or tax returns)
Living Arrangement Note: If the enrolling parent and child live with someone else, that person must go with you to the Palestine ISD Administration Office (1007 East Park Avenue) with their photo ID and proof of address before you can complete enrollment.
How to Apply
Head Start Pre-Application: Complete Part I via the Head Start application portal (linked through the Palestine ISD Enrollment Portal).
Skyward Registration: Complete Part II by logging into or creating a new Palestine ISD Skyward Enrollment account to finalize your student's PISD registration.
