National Special Education Day is celebrated every year on December 2 to commemorate the anniversary of our nation’s first federal special education law, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, signed by President Ford on December 2, 1975. Today, PISD would like to honor all of our Special Education teachers. We appreciate all that you do for our students!
