Southside librarian Katelyn Ward has released her third book, and it is absolutely beautiful. The illustrations are stunning. Be on the lookout for her at the Palestine Farmers Market, where she will be sharing and selling her newest book, Five Senses of a Bat.

Southside Elementary staff enjoyed a wonderful potluck picnic! Our maintenance man, Byron White, and our school resource officer, LaMorris Marshall, grilled up some delicious burgers while our staff brought all the amazing side dishes, dips, and desserts. Time spent together like this reminds us what a special team we have at Southside. It truly feels like family.

At Southside Elementary, we love celebrating our Sunflowers of the Month! 🌻 Today, our Leadership Team shared a special lunch with these outstanding students. Their hard work, kindness, and leadership brighten our campus every day! 🌟
